The content flow for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has been more like a torrent, with each week bringing something new for players to grind across all its modes and Warzone.
It's not always easy to know exactly what's going on and how long you have to complete challenges and events, play limited time modes (LTM), and decide which modes to focus on.
Weekly Challenges
As every week there's a new set of weekly challenges across all four game modes. The usual applies; complete any six and get the reward.
This week the reward is a must-have. The FANG HoverPoint ELO sight is not only one of the cleanest weapon sights in the game, but it also adds bonus recoil stabilization.
It's already becoming one of the meta choices, so you want to get this one unlocked.

Lunar New Year LTM with exclusive reward
In Multiplayer there's currently a Lunar New Year LTM called Luck Confirmed, which is a spin on the regular Kill Confirmed mode.
Instead of tags, you collect luck pouches, and they're worth double the score of a regular Kill Confirmed collection. As such, players can earn Scorestreaks much faster, and all manner of chaos will follow.
As an added bonus, once you win five games of Luck Confirmed, you'll earn the special Mane Character emblem. It started before the weekly Thursday reset, so it might not be around too long, so grab it while you can.
2XP and Gobblegums Event — Ends Monday, Feb 23
Another 2XP event is upon us and will run until Monday, Feb 23, at noon ET. In that time you'll earn double level XP and double weapon XP.
For Zombies players, on top of double XP, you'll also have a double Gobblegums earn rate, making it a perfect weekend to stock up.
The 2XP event also applies to Warzone.
Escalation Directive Weapon Camo event continues
We're now into the second week of the Escalation Directive Weapon Camo event, which is set to end with the next weekly reset on Thursday, Feb 26.
As a recap, there are nine challenges in total, one per weapon class, in Endgame, Zombies, Multiplayer, and Warzone.
Complete all nine, and you unlock that mode's Mastery Camo; complete all four modes, and you unlock the Incandescence Ultra Mastery Camo.
A few tips if you haven't finished it yet or are still to start:
- Warzone is by far the fastest to complete by using casual mode.
- In Endgame you'll need at least a Combat Rating 30 character for one of the challenges, and remember to pick up fresh weapons around the map to help you complete it efficiently.
- Multiplayer challenges are best done on Face Off maps or in Hardcore. A little tip for the LMG challenge is to make sure you have the Akimbo attachment for the XM325. Use the Ballistic Knife for the Melee challenge, too, as you can fire the blade and it still counts.
- Zombies has a challenge that requires Instakill to be active. Either take in the necessary Gobblegums, or if you do it on Vandorn Farm, you can get a free Instakill by shooting the top of the Silo.
Additionally, Ranked Play continues, with the same requirement of winning three placement matches to join the ladder.
Call of Duty: Warzone content this week
Warzone LTM - Loaded Resurgence Casual
In a slightly unusual move, the latest Warzone LTM is for Casual, not the regular modes. Loaded Resurgence has ended and been replaced by a Casual version, but is otherwise the same.
Warzone LTM's tend to be for a weekend only, so it'll probably end early next week.
Loaded Resurgence is juiced up by dropping in with your loadout instead of having to earn it. As such, it's a good time to work on any Warzone Mastery Camo challenges you still have outstanding.
Additionally, Ranked Play on Haven's Hollow continues, with the requirement for entry being 20 top-six finishes. Casual doesn't count for these qualifying matches.
We're closing in on the mid-season point in the next couple of weeks, with the most anticipated forthcoming content being the new Blackout mode on Avalon.
Based on rough math, Season 02 Reloaded should be happening in early March, but there's still plenty to play before then.
