The content flow for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has been more like a torrent, with each week bringing something new for players to grind across all its modes and Warzone.

It's not always easy to know exactly what's going on and how long you have to complete challenges and events, play limited time modes (LTM), and decide which modes to focus on.

Weekly Challenges

As every week there are a new set of weekly challenges across all four game modes. The usual applies; complete any six and get the reward.

This week the reward is an attachment for the Razor 9mm SMG, the Wildfire Conversion Kit.

It improves firing rate and bullet velocity while also applying an 85-round magazine, at the cost of reduced movement speed while aiming and applying spread when ADS.

As every week, six challenges across all four modes are all you need, and even if you don't want the attachment, it's another tick towards the season-exclusive reward Camos.

The first of those has also been unlocked this week as we're five weeks into the season. Complete the challenges, and assuming you've done weeks 1 - 4, you'll unlock the animated Sword of Swords Camo. It actually looks really nice, definitely one of the better free Camos we've got so far.

Throwback Moshpit in Multiplayer

A playlist of classic maps has been added this week. (Image credit: Windows Central)

In Multiplayer there is a new playlist called Throwback Moshpit, and it's exactly as it sounds.

It uses open matchmaking and consists entirely of the remastered old Black Ops maps, such as Fringe, Standoff, and Meltdown.

Since there's actually a healthy selection of classic maps brought back for Black Ops 7, it's not a bad rotation.

Hunt or be Hunted Multiplayer Exclusive event

Hey look, another leaderboard event! And this one is going to be sweaty. That's because it's a Multiplayer exclusive, and it's based around getting as many eliminations as you can.

As with previous events, there will be varying rewards based on your placement in a 30-player ladder, as well as cumulative ones for your total number of eliminations. It'll only be on over the weekend, starting Friday March 6 at 10am Pacific, and will end on Monday March 9.

Additionally, Ranked Play continues, with the same requirement of winning three placement matches to join the ladder.

Iron Gauntlet beta

Iron Gauntlet is having a beta run until Monday, March 9, though it will no longer be in place of Ranked Play.

The initial reaction has been mixed, so Raven is turning Ranked Play back on to give players a choice.

Iron Gauntlet is a 150-player mode, duos only, with increased health, increased TTK, increased prices at Buy Stations, and reduced health regeneration.

It also adds the Wall Jump mechanic and the Grappling Hook from Black Ops 7 that will also be present in the new Black Ops Royale mode launching next week.

It's a quieter week than some in Call of Duty, but Season 02 Reloaded drops at the next weekly refresh, and that will be packing a lot of content.

We're just a week out from a new Zombies big map, Black Ops Royale, and the start of the roadmap for the second half of the season.
