Update: Microsoft says it has deployed a fix, although some users are still reporting issues. Try to hard reset your Xbox (hold power button for 5 seconds, then turn it back on), as some reports suggest this may be a temporary workaround.

Update 2: Microsoft says it has fixed the sign-in problems, but there are issues with Movies & TV content, which the firm is investigating.

Update 3 (February 23, 2020): Microsoft reckons it has fixed the issues with Movie & TV content, although the website says there are still issues with PES 2020 and Need for Speed: Heat.

Nope, it's not just you. Xbox Live appears to be down for some users, preventing online sign-ins to Xbox One consoles and other services that require Xbox Live. The outage was reported earlier today, but recently the status has been updated to say "resolution pending," suggesting the problems will soon go away.

In addition, it seems Need for Speed Heat and PES 2020 are also having some issues with online play, although that might be related to the login problems. Microsoft has acknowledged the outage on the official Xbox Twitter support page and states that the firm is working on a fix.

Xbox Live experiences outages from time to time, but they never last particularly long. Hopefully, Microsoft can get it back up and running sooner, rather than later. We'll update this post to let you know when it's back up.
