What you need to know

  • Cyberpunk 2077 is an upcoming open world RPG from CD Projekt RED, and has built up quite a lot of hype.
  • The latest ad for the game features Keanu Reeves, who is actually in the game portraying the character "Johnny Silverhand."
  • The name of the game for the newest Cyberpunk 2077 ad is "Seize the Day," encouraging future players to play however they want.
  • Cyberpunk 2077 is slated for release on November 19, 2020, right around next-gen console releases.

Cyberpunk 2077 is inching ever closer to release, and it's not letting players forget with the release of an all-new YouTube ad for the game. "Seize the Day" is 30 seconds of cyber-action, featuring Keanu Reeves himself, the actor who plays the character "Johnny Silverhand" in Cyberpunk 2077. It's a short ad, but encourages future players to take control and play whoever and however they want. As the ad concludes, "seize the day, then set it on fire."

If you're ready for Cyberpunk 2077, we hopefully shouldn't have much longer to wait. The current release date is set for November 19, 2020, just after the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S release, but CD Projekt RED, the game's developers, have just come under fire for its decision to call for mandatory crunch time for its employees, leading to concern about the wellbeing of everyone working on the game. Hopefully we get the game in due time, and it's as awesome as we hope, but not at the expensve of the talented people creating it.
