Xbox Video

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

One of my favorites movies from the summer is now available to own or rent. And it is at least worth a rental this weekend if you haven't seen it. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes continues the story of a deadly virus that genetically enhanced apes. This film takes place ten years after those events an shows how humanity is coping. [PG-13, 2 hr 10 min]

The Babadook

The Babadook. It's at 98% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and has an 87 Metascore on Metacritic. It's easily in the running for best new horror film of 2014 and worth a watch. It came out earlier this year for Australian audiences and is now making a theatrical run in the U.S. But you can rent it on Xbox Video if you want to be scared. [R, 1 hr 33 min]

Last Chance Rentals!

For whatever reason, a handful of movies won't be available to rent on Xbox Video soon. So if you're interested in renting movies like Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Noah, and Horns you better act fast.
