"The Operation Ember Rise will begin very soon," stated Ubisoft Russia on Twitter via a rough translation. "Amaru and Goyo will be introduced to Rainbow Six - the new operators from Peru and Mexico, which will make the gameplay even more diverse. There will also be a full Kanal rework. More details will be revealed at the #RaleighMajor final."

Firm details on Ember Rise's new Operators remain scarce, currently framing Amaru as our female Peruvian attacker, alongside Mexican defender, Goyo. Previous leaks allude to a new grappling hook-equipped breacher, bringing much-needed vertically to rapidly ascend hatches and windows. Her rumored partner secures the objective with a unique deployable shield, dropping a fiery inferno in its radius once destroyed.

Operation Ember Rise will see a full reveal on August 18, 2019, at 1:30 PM ET (10:30 AM PT / 6:30 PM UK / 7:30 PM CET), live from the latest Rainbow Six Pro League Finals in Raleigh, North Carolina.
