Next week we only have one new "AAA" release on Xbox One, but there are still a few surprises here and there. Notably, State of Decay 2: Ultimate Edition is finally launching on the console, and Wizard of Legend transports you to a world filled with magical goodness. With that in mind, here are all of the biggest games launching next week, between May 14 and May 18, 2018.

State of Decay 2: Ultimate Edition

State of Decay 2 is a co-op multiplayer game which forces you to survive in the wake of a zombie apocalypse. Players have to work together, build bases, and form communities if they wish to survive in this hostile land. The first game — despite the fact that it suffered from numerous performance issues — garnered a significant following. Keep in mind that only the Ultimate Edition of the game gives you early access.

State of Decay 2: Ultimate Edition should launch on May 18, priced at $49.99. The game features Xbox One X enhancements and Xbox Play Anywhere support.

Divinity: Original Sin II - Definitive Edition

Divinity: Original Sin II is an award-winning role-playing game which tasks you with essentially stopping the destruction of everything you know. Master deep, tactical combat, and join up with three other players for a chance to become a god.

Divinity: Original Sin II - Definitive Edition should launch in Xbox Game Preview on May 16. Players can only play part of the game before its August launch.

Cities: Skylines - Natural Disasters

Natural Disasters is an expansion for Cities: Skylines and features a variety of catastrophes to challenge players everywhere. You'll have to prepare for meteor strikes and much more if you want to succeed.

Cities: Skylines - Natural Disasters should launch on May 15. The game features Xbox One X enhancements and is available on Xbox Game Pass.

Forgotton Anne

Forgotton Anne is a cinematic adventure which focuses on meaningful storytelling and light puzzle platforming. You play as Anne, an enforcer who keeps order in the Forgotten Lands, as she sets out to quench a rebellion that might prevent her master, Bonku, and herself from returning to the human world.

Forgotton Anne should launch on May 15, priced at $19.99.

The Council: Hide and Seek

The Council is an episodic narrative adventure where your choices and character growth truly matter. Hide and Seek is the game's second episode. You'll make hard-hitting decisions, but also develop an array of skills to directly impact how the story unfolds. With permanent consequences, there's no going back.

The Council: Hide and Seek should launch on May 17. Season pass holders will be able to play it on May 15.

Wizard of Legend

Wizard of Legend is a fast-paced dungeon crawler with an emphasis on skillful magical combat. Quick movement and spellcasting allow you to chain together devastating combos against your enemies.

Wizard of Legend should launch on May 15, priced at $15.99. The game features Xbox One X enhancements.

Descenders

Descenders throws you into the world of mountain biking, where every jump, whip and scrub earns you reputation points. The catch it that you might lose it all with just one poorly-timed landing. Think of it as a stricter version of the infamous Trials series.

Descenders should launch in Xbox Game Preview on May 15.

Monster Slayers

Monster Slayers is a rogue-like deck-building adventure with an innovative card-based battle system that lets you customize a deck to suit your playstyle.

Monster Slayers should launch on May 18, priced at $14.99. Those who preorder the game can get it for $11.99.

Lily's Epic Quest for Lost Gems

Lily's Epic Quest for Lost Gems is an enhanced match-three game. Unlike other such titles, you have to move the character to reveal more of the level. Any combination of three or more will remove the blocks, clearing the field.

Lily's Epic Quest for Lost Gems should launch on May 16, priced at $6.99.

Other experiences like Boss 101 and Hitman: Definitive Edition should also release next week.
