Save an extra $24 on CHUWI's excellent budget 14.1 LapBook

At under $300, the CHUWI 14.1 LapBook was already a solid deal for anyone in the market for budget PC, but now you can grab one for even less. With discount code TIUGTN5W, you can pick up the CHUWI 14.1 Lap Book for $245.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab) — a full $24 off of its regular price.

For your money, you'll pick up a decidedly budget machine, but one that performs admirably for its price range. Included is a 1.1GHz (2.2GHz burst) 7th-gen Intel Celeron N3450 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. You're also looking at a 14.1-inch IPS 1080p display, integrated Intel 500 graphics, and a 2MP front-facing camera. The whole package is powered by a 9000mAh battery and weighs in at 3.2 pounds.

We recently reviewed the CHUWI 14.1 LapBook and came away pretty impressed. It has definitely quirks you'd expect at this price range, but it's one of the best sub-$300 laptops you can get your hands on today. If it sounds like it's your cup of tea, remember to use discount code TIUGTN5W to take an extra $24 off.

  • I'll be weary about buying these Chinese branded devices'. I have an Oukitel Universe U8 and a Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 with Windows. Both cannot keep their charge already. It has to be tethered to a charger at all times otherwise, they will turn off. It's sad because they are such beautiful devices.
  • I've got the Mi Pad 2 as well, though I've only installed Android (MIUI EN) on it as I need some apps that's not available on any Windows platform. My Mi Pad 2 lasts for quite a long time with Andriod. I've considered duel booting it with Win 10, but I've alreday got Win 10 laptops, phones and netbooks :)
