Remnant: From the Ashes is a third-person action game along the lines of Dark Souls. Instead of a slew of melee weapons, the game focuses on gunplay. Each game is also randomized so you encounter different bosses and come across different weapons and armor. In order to experience it all, you have to help out other gamers through the online co-op mode. The new DLC and DLC bundle will be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on June 4.

Today, the teams behind the game announced new content. It looks like the dreaded "Swamps of Corsus" area is getting revamped. You can read an excerpt from the press release below.

Perfect World Entertainment and Gunfire Games today announced that 2019's sleeper hit Remnant: From the Ashes will launch a new premium DLC Swamps of Corsus for $9.99 on PC on April 28, and on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at a later date. A bundle containing the Remnant: From the Ashes base game and the new DLC will be available on Steam for $44.99 starting April 28, and will launch on consoles later. Swamps of Corsus will deliver an upgraded version of the primordial world of Corsus with a swarm of new content, including three powerful weapons and mods, four challenging side dungeons, epic bosses and enemies, and more. In addition, the DLC will unveil a new roguelike game mode called Survival Mode that will have players start from nothing and fight for survival to acquire unique armor and over 50 new armor skins.

The team promised a lot more downloadable content (DLC) in 2020. It's unclear what this DLC includes, but Remnant: From the Ashes is a great game and anything that expands the experience is a welcome addition.
