After months of speculation, Activision revealed Spyro Reignited Trilogy a few months ago. The company previously stated that he was "all scaled up and ready to flare up" on September 21, 2018, but that won't be happening. A few weeks later, developer Toys for Bob provided a statement to IGN, announcing a delay until November 13.
While the game is launching next month, that hasn't stopped Activision from releasing a hilarious launch trailer. The video focuses on Spyro's sense of humor and the other hilarious characters that inhabit the realm. Apart from that, it also highlights the dramatic differences between the original version and this remaster.
Hopefully the game will be a polished experience when it launches on Xbox One and other platforms this holiday season. We'll keep you posted as soon as we know more about the title, like its Xbox One X enhancements. Just like Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, it's expected to run at native 4K resolution on Microsoft's new system.
You can currently preorder Spyro Reignited Trilogy for $39.99 at retailers like Amazon and the Microsoft Store. Unlike Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, it's great to see that this collection is coming to all platforms at the same time. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was a PlayStation 4 exclusive for a year. Yes. Definitely interested.
I liked the developer interviews where they talked about how they reverse engineered the games from the originals.
