  • Im hoping that surface book and surface pro 4 are launching in India at same time i.e. January 7.
  • Lets hope
  • Maybe they'll ship mine a bit ahead of the 1/22 ship by date
  • That's weird. I was under the impression Australia was one of the few launch markets for the Surface Book when Microsoft first announced it. It's been on sale at the Sydney Microsoft store since it opened and you can buy it online now in any of the available configurations. Am I missing something?
  • They probably mean Austria rather than Australia, but Dan was either tired or in a rush when he wrote this lol.
  • @Racxie. Or maybe autocorrect decided wreak havoc :P.
  • Nz$2700... That's way out of my league
  • Though actually quite reasonable for what you get.
  • It is pretty outrageously expensive. But then, compare it to a new Macbook Pro with similar specs and suddenly it seems quite reasonable :P Either way, 2.7k definitely puts it out of my price range, for sure.
  • I know SB has nvidia gpu. But is it good for gaming?
  • well its not made for gaming but i could perform most games if you are not into "very high resolution" gaming and stuff
  • It works smoothly with rendering software meaning it's good for gaming on occasions. But its not a gaming beast just a midrange
  • If you are into gaming neither of the microsoft devices is good for you.. maybe the xbox if you fancy it
  • Even the Intel HD520 in the Surface Pro 4 is good enough for light gaming.
  • It's able to play fallout 4 and some recent games, of course with medium settings. Search it up on YouTube and you can see its performance.
  • Wow! That's one expensive beast! Posted via the Windows Central App for Android
  • pre-orders also live in Austria. Delivery from 18th february.
  • Same in France for delivery from February 18th
  • Waiting for the Indian price list and the flood of 'it's too expensive' comments.
  • Waiting for a Surface Book with an Italian layout keyboard :/
  • Wow yeah that is several pennies indeed it's the laptop that kills all laptops though so seems fair
  • Cool, can't wait to check it in the stores.
  • Been waiting on this for a long time, I can't afford it at all but I want to go put my fingerprints all over it in the store lol I got to do the same to the surface pro 4 a few weeks back and it was great, the pen was much better than I expected
