Surface Laptop 3 now available to preorder at Amazon

Now that the Surface Laptop 3 has been up for preorder at the Microsoft Store for a couple of days, Amazon is getting in on the action. The online retailer now has the Surface Laptop 3 available to preorder, with prices starting at $999.

For your money, you can select either the 13-inch Surface Laptop 3 with Intel chips, or the 15-inch Surface Laptop 3 with AMD chips. Configurations range from 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

The Surface Laptop 3 brings a few notable changes to the table this year. There's now a single USB-C port included alongside a USB-A port, and you can pick the laptop up in an all-metal finish. The 15-inch model is also new and is only available with Microsoft's customized AMD Ryzen processors, which add a bit of extra graphics power.

If you skipped the Microsoft Store and are still mulling an order, you can preorder the Surface Laptop 3 now at Amazon. The Surface Laptop 3 is expected to launch on October 22.
