According to Windows Central's Samuel Tolbert, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 are critically acclaimed skateboarding games. They were originally developed by Neversoft and published by Activision. Recently, during Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest event, "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2" remasters were announced.
If you're a massive fan of the franchise, be sure to check out the game's collector's edition on Best Buy. Not only does it come with the game, but it also comes with a full-size Birdhouse skateboard deck. Birdhouse skateboards are absolutely legendary and usually go for around $60. I ordered the collector's edition for the custom skateboard deck alone.
