Violett, a Windows Phone fantasy adventure game, is our myAppFree deal of the week

If you are a fan of fantasy adventure games chocked full of mind bending puzzles, this week's myAppFree Deal will be hard to pass by.
Violett, is a wonderfully drawn up Windows Phone adventure game where you play the role of the lead character who has been mysteriously transported to a fantasy world. Violett's quest is simple, find a way back home.
Available for low-memory devices, Violett normally runs $3.99 but through the myAppFree promotion, you can pick it up for free.
The storyline behind the game has Violett, a young and rebellious teenage girl, moving into a new home with her family. Violett isn't too happy about moving away from her friends and stumbles upon a mysterious light coming from a mouse hole.
Investigating the mysterious light, Violett is transported to a fantasy world with singing frogs and garden gnomes. Violett has gained the power of telekinesis and must navigate through intricate puzzles to find her way home. However, an evil Spider Queen is set on keeping Violett trapped in this psychedelic world.
Game play does take a bit of patience with plenty of touch gestures to learn. You do have a hint button that will point you in the right direction but most of Violett's game play deals with exploration and using your imagination to solve the puzzles to guide Violett through the various areas of her fantasy world.
Inspired by Alice in Wonderland, Violett is an eye catching, challenging adventure game for Windows Phone. The game normally runs $3.99 and through the myAppFree promotion is temporarily free. If you give Violett a try, let us know in the comments below what you think of the game. Also, remember to rate the game in the Windows Phone Store to give the developer a feel for things.

Seems good.
Gonna download this one. :) -
Too many complaints in the reviews to want to pick this one up.
-
It is free. Download it while it is free and have it forever free. Software may be updated but there isn't a guarantee that it will be free again. At worst you have a free game that you don't like. Uninstall it. At best, you have a game that you like that you got for free.
-
Click on install. While it is downloading, cancel it. Now you own the app forever, and you didn't download it even once. ;)
-
Really? Is that work?
-
Yup..
-
Definitely. I've been use this for any free app that capture my interest but not needed yet (and make a note of it of course).
-
I could just see one review .... Where did the others fly?? ..... I hope its not fantasy land again
-
Reviews differ from region to region.. An app may have many reviews in the states and none in the Australia.
-
Wow people will take anything as long as its free I guess.

One of the best mobile games I ever played, in great graphics. I wish it had more chapters as I finished it pretty quickly :S :P -
This Game came from PC!
-
Are you have a sound's bugs??
-
The story synopsis sounded like it was inspired by Neil Gaiman's Coraline.
-
Go Ponder from bringing this one. I love whimsical games like this. Keep em coming sir. I wonder if it is available on my tablet.

-
This was a great game on steam (if a little buggy).
-
Looks like good!
-
Downloaded it and I must say, I'm surprised at how much I'm enjoying it. Only had trouble at first since I had no clue how to use the gestures to solve the puzzles. The story is basically Coraline, which is not bad, just not original. The graphics and art style are great. And it's free!! :D

Good game
-
I can't even get past the first part. Hint shows a button that I can't even find because it's so dark. Looks like an awesome game, once I get past this...

I bought this before it was free. Great game. Also check out Frederic game by the same developer. Another excellent game akin to Beat Mania/DJ Hero and SongArc.
