There's so much good stuff on Xbox Music and Xbox Video. How do you keep up with what's new and worth checking out? You don't have to; we'll do that for you. Every Friday we'll grab the hottest albums and singles on Xbox Music. We'll also let you know what movies and television shows are out to watch on Xbox Video. It's the weekend, and we'll help entertain you.

Xbox Music

Diplo – Random White Dude Be Everywhere

Diplo

Can Diplo be stopped? He's everywhere today and working with the biggest names in music. Random White Dude Be Everywhere is the latest album from Diplo. It puts his biggest hits from the past few years into one collection. You'll also find two new tracks and never-before-heard remixes from Diplo. This is a must have for any Diplo fan (or the next time you want your girl to twerk).

La Roux – Trouble in Paradise

La Roux

Trouble in Paradise is the sophomoric album from La Roux. This album has been highly anticipated after La Roux's debut album won a Grammy in 2011 for Best Electronic/Dance album. Get your New Wave and Synthpop fix with this release. Let Me Down Gently is a solid single on the track.

Xbox Video

Snowpiercer

Looking for the sleeper hit of the summer? That would be Snowpiercer. It's a South Korean science fiction action film based on a popular French graphic novel. It was released last summer in South Korea, but filmgoers in the United States didn't get a taste till this summer. It's still out in theaters right now, but not too many of them have it. So you're going to want to grab it on Xbox Video.

Any movie that currently holds a 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes earns a watch from us. Consider it rented for Saturday night. [R, 2hr. 6min.]

The Raid 2

You listen if Daniel Rubino tells you to watch a movie. This week Dan is recommending The Raid 2 on Xbox Video. It's a positively reviewed Indonesian martial arts crime action film that holds a 79% on Rotten Tomatoes from critics, but an 89% rating from the general public. The story follows a rookie cop sent undercover to take down corrupt police and gangs. [R, 2hr. 30min.]
