Destiny 2: Shadowkeep brings weapons aplenty to Destiny 2, but most of these new tools of destruction will require you to scour the moon for special crafting ingredients and parts. One of these ingredients is the Necromatic Strand, and it's an essential item for you to craft the powerful Hand Cannon, Loud Lullaby. Here's where you'll find the Necromatic Strand, as well as how to get there fast and easy.
Where to find the Necromatic Strand
To start your search for the Necromatic Strand, travel to the Moon and spawn in at the Sanctuary area where Eris Morn is located. Once there, get on your Sparrow and take the path to the left until you reach the Archer's Line section of the map. Travel straight through the area, but keep an eye to the right and look out for the building with a small tower and a damaged glass dome on top — head towards it.
There will be a squad or two of Fallen impeding your progress inside of the dome structure, and they might kill you if you ignore them, so kill them with some well-placed headshots. Once they're dead, go forward and exit the structure on the other side. In front of you, you'll find a structure with some Hive troops guarding it. This is the Hall of Wisdom.
Kill the Hive in front of it and go in, descending the "spiral staircase" made out of rocky ground. This is the only path there is, so it's impossible to miss. Soon, you'll come to a small cave that exits out into a large open room.
Once in the room, look to your right and keep an eye out for a collection of glowing orange crystals. This formation is where you'll find the Necromatic Strand, but there's an assortment of Hive soldiers blocking your way there. Take the time to clear the location out, then run over to the crystals. A waypoint will appear on your HUD that directs you to the exact spot on the ground where the Necromatic Strand is.
What else do you need to finish?
The Loud Lullaby is Eris' Hand Cannon gift to you, but you will need more than the Necromatic Strand to get it. You will also need to kill 50 foes on the Moon with a Hand Cannon while also completing some simple activities.
The activities are simple. You need to loot chests, do Public Events, and complete Lost Sectors all over the Moon. As long as you use a Hand Cannon for all of those activities, you will quickly complete both requirements at the same time.
