  • While I like the idea of having Cortana as my office assistant, which includes the ability to read aloud my emails and schedule appointments, I do find it awkward that I need to use another assistant to reach her. From what I understood from today's podcast, we won't be able to just grab our Android devices and say, "Hey Cortana, read my emails". Instead we have to first say, "Hey Google, open Outlook" then proceed to ask Cortana to read our messages. This makes sense because Cortana will no longer be a system wide assistant on Android but it could make the hands-free assistant experience a bit cumbersome. Is it safe to say that Surface Duo and Neo will use Google Assistant as it's primary assistant?
