Hey...you guys no longer upload podcast videos on YouTube ??
-
...by a quarter. :)

Groove needs more work. Sure it functions, but half the artist art is missing or terrible, shuffle doesn't work as expected. I hope they won't touch the Weather app.
-
I agree with your comments regarding problems with Groove Music. I recently copied my Music folder from the desktop to an SD card on my Windows Phone. On the desktop, all artists are identified. Now on the phone, only half of the artists are identified.
-
Please don't mess the Weather app.
-
Off subject, but is anyone else having trouble installing Spotify from the store? It will not install on my device. Lumia 950.
-
Spotify support for WM ended I believe a few weeks ago. Your 950 is officially a doorstop.
-
Installing OK here on a 950XL.
Are you installing to device or SD? -
As to the "Winding down app development" segment, I'm okay with MS winding down on things like Weather, since I agree it's pretty feature complete. I agree, what's left to do on a perfect app? But I would like to see MS move these folks into something other than Edge. In particular I'd like to see more quality first party UWP and even Win 32 apps hit the store. If it was the Apple Store or the Android store, as a developer, I'd be wanting the complete opposite, as I'd want the opportunity for 3rd party devs to build these. But the Windows Store still needs A LOT of help. I think MS needs to step in, flex their software company muscle, and showcase their own platform with quality 1P UWP. Quality apps in the store = more customers in the store = more developers in the store. One quick example is MS Money. In 2015 Intuit pulled its really good UWP personal finance app Mint from the MS Store to focus on iOS and Android. So why doesn't MS resurrect their once beloved personal finance app MS Money (defunct since 2012) as both a Win32 (bundled with Office 365), and as a mobile ready UWP app, and as a cloud app available in Office Online? If MS prides itself as the "productivity" OS of choice how can they allow a personal finance app gap on the store? What's more "productive" than personal finance? Bottom line, I think MS needs to do more, a lot more, to showcase its own platform's strengths, and draw in more customers who will purchase other apps 3rd party devs are building. It's sort of like the Surface line. Having a Surface line in no way hurts OEMs. In fact we see them thriving off of what Surface has done. MS needs to do the same with UWP.
