Today, Microsoft announced January 2020's free Games with Gold for Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners. Starting on January 1, Styx: Shards of Darkness and Tekken 6 will be free with the subscription. Then, on January 16, Batman: The Telltale Series - The Complete Season and Lego Star Wars II can be downloaded at no cost. You need an active Xbox Live membership to play the Xbox One games, but the Xbox 360 titles are yours to keep after you redeem them once. It doesn't matter if you're still an Xbox Live Gold subscriber.
According to Microsoft, January's lineup provides almost $65 in value and up to 4,000 Gamerscore. You can read about the free games below.

Tekken 6
With over 34 million copies sold worldwide, Tekken is a top fighting game franchise. The series appears on the Xbox 360 console for the first time with the latest installment, Tekken 6. A large roster of unique characters, fast-paced action, a deep level of strategy, and the rich background story have all helped make the Tekken series the top in its genre.
Be sure to download all four of these games next month because many of them are great experiences. Out of all of these, we would recommend playing Batman: The Telltale Series and Tekken 6 because they're incredible titles.
