New this week for Xbox One: RWBY: Grimm Eclipse, I Am Bread

A new week of releases is here, marking the debut of a number of exciting new Xbox One titles over the coming days. Starting off this week, Rooster Teeth's RWBY is making its way to the Xbox One, in the form of a digital game known as RWBY: Grimm Eclipse. I Am Bread is also debuting on the console, after releasing on other platforms two years ago. Here's a closer look at all the titles arriving over the coming days!

Our top picks this week:

RWBY: Grimm Eclipse

RWBY: Grimm Eclipse kicks off this week's lineup, delivering action-packed cooperative gameplay on the Xbox One. Based on Rooster Teeth's hit animated web series, RWBY: Grimm Eclipse brings forward the show's cast, featuring each playable versions of each member from Team RWBY. Using this to understandably introduce four-player cooperative play, the game has similarities drawn to both Left 4 Dead and Dynasty Warriors.

Featuring a newly debuting narrative with diverges from the show, RWBY: Grimm Eclipse introduces a range of new aspects into the world of Remnant. With new locales, enemies and a villain appearing for the first time on-screen, the game is a must-buy for any die-hard fans of the show. RWBY: Grimm Eclipse releases on Tuesday, January 17, available exclusively as a digital download.

I Am Bread

As the title makes relatively clear, I Am Bread puts players in the shoes of their favorite doughy food. From the creators of the frustratingly difficult but equally wacky Surgeon Simulator, I Am Bread inherits its unique control scheme and tone.

Trying hardest to get themselves toasted, players must manoeuvre themselves across the world in hope of finding a toaster. However, beware of water and dirty surfaces along the way, which have the chance of leaving your bread slice in an inedible state. I Am Bread is available from Friday, January 20 via the Xbox Store.
