Xbox One S is getting a $50 price drop starting tomorrow

Just ahead of its Project Scorpio unveiling, Microsoft has announced a price cut on the current Xbox One S. Starting tomorrow, June 11, Xbox One S bundles will see a $50 price drop across the board.
Summer's coming.

For the base 500GB configurations, that'll bring the price down to $250. That's a solid move that matches the One S to the PS4 Slim's recent temporary price cut. It's not clear, however, whether the Xbox One S price drop is intended to be temporary or permanent.
All of this comes just ahead of Microsoft's June 11 E3 briefing, where we're expected to get a look at the price, name and final design of Project Scorpio, which will now sit at the top end of Microsoft's Xbox lineup. The briefing kicks off right away at 2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET, and we'll bring you the latest as it unfolds.

Hmm, interesting... does this mean the Scorpio will be between $349-399 then? :-) That will be a $100 to $150 markup over the S..
-
At least $449
-
Scorpio will never be less than $500.
-
Perhaps, but i can guarantee two things, it will be less than $1000 and more than $100
-
I cant wait for the meltdowns when its announced right at the end of the conference a HUGE MEGATON that its $399 at base model.
-
it has to compete with PS4 Pro. They dont want to make the same mistake as the first Xbox One.
-
This puts scorpio in the running for $349-$450...loving the build up.
-
$399.99, £379.99. My bet.
-
They won't do $500 because it won't sell at that price. My guess is it will be $400 for Scorpio
-
Totally fair price. My fiance (we are planning a wedding and house) would not kill me at $400.
-
450€ or 500€ for X10S
-
I'm going to guess at about $500
-
What time in England?
-
Wen in India?

I think it'll start at $399... We might see two versions.. Based on storage.. 1 TB for $399 and 2TB for $499...
-
Sounds temporary. Since it says get $50 off... Rather than price drop. I feel like they would have specified otherwise.
-
I think it's just a diplomatic way of getting to a permanent price drop. This is probably the new price going forward.
-
I've been seeing the x1s for 250 for few already. This must just be writing in the stone to keep it that low.
-
Would be nice if Gold wasn't $55 expensive. I play only BF4 and use Xbox for nothing else
-
I'm still waiting for Microsoft to make a black Xbox One S.
-
Already available (special edition) check it in Xbox website
-
I must be blind. Did not see a black version.
-
Going to check now. Thanks. 👍
