What you need to know

  • Amazon keeps on leaking games before E3 2019.
  • Today, Amazon Spain accidentally posted "Zombie Army 4: Dead War" early.
  • The listing as since been pulled from the store.
  • The game may launch in 2020 on Xbox One.

A few days ago, developer Rebellion teased that a new game would be announced at E3 2019. While many assumed that this game would be Sniper Elite 5, it turns out it may be another Zombie Army experience. Today, Amazon Spain — it seems like Amazon is the one leaking everything this year — posted a listing for a title called "Zombie Army 4: Dead War." The listing as since been pulled, but numerous outlets managed to capture images and details. It was first spotted by Metacouncil.

The description provides more details about the game.

If you thought you were safe, you're totally wrong. We are in 1946. Europe is in ruins, torn by the nefarious 'Plan Z.' A brave band of heroes manages to throw the Führer into hell, but they know little. Hitler's hordes are back looking for more. Face the darkness in single-player mode or join your friends as we make your way through the undead Nazis in this spooky shooting game from the creators of Sniper Elite 4.

The title features the following gameplay mechanics.

  • A creepy new campaign for one to four players.
  • Epic weapons, skills, and improvements.
  • The largest horde mode ever made.
  • The X-ray camera that shatters organs returns.

According to Amazon Spain, the game is coming to Xbox One and should launch in 2020. Only a placeholder date was provided, but there's a chance that it may launch this year. We should know more in a few days.

Are you excited for a new Zombie Army game? Let us know. The series is surprisingly popular, and hopefully it'll push visual boundaries this time around. As with any such leak, take it with a grain of salt until we receive official confirmation.
