Every weekend, Windows Central streams an Xbox One game or two on Twitch for 1-2 hours and gives out free games to the cool people who join us during the stream. It's like a live podcast only you also get to watch a game while chatting with our awesome readers and viewers!

Tonight we celebrated Valentine's Day by playing two awesome games: Arslan – The Warriors of Legend from Koei Tecmo and Deadpool from Activision! And we showed our love by giving out some great prizes. Read on for quick impressions, contest winners, and full video replays for both games.

Arslan: The Warriors of Legend

Arslan: The Warriors of Legend

We took a sneak peek at the Steam version of Arslan: The Warriors of Legend a few weeks back, and now it's time to check out the full console version – with good frame rate!

Based on the Japanese anime and manga The Heroic Legend of Arslan, Koei Tecmo's latest takes places in a medieval fantasy setting. Players control Arslan, a prince who finds himself in constant danger when a neighboring kingdom overthrows his country's government and captures his parents. Arslan will have to rely on his few surviving friends as they work to build an army and take back their kingdom.

Arslan: The Warriors of Legend features the Warriors/Musou series' traditional large-scale battles, with hundreds of enemies filling the screen. New mechanics make Arslan stand out from other Warriors games, such as the Rush system in which the heroes' army charges on horseback at opposing forces. A compelling, RPG-like story and the cast of endearing characters will keep players engrossed as they experience Arslan's journey and struggles.

Koei Tecmo's Arslan: The Warriors of Legend has just arrived on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam. Watch us play for a detailed look at this grand adventure!

Deadpool Xbox One title screen

In case you didn't hear, Fox's Deadpool movie starring Ryan Reynolds is now in theaters. It's quite good! Fox didn't screw this version of Deadpool up at all, and you know they really wanted to. If you're looking for a different kind of superhero movie – a very R-rated one with lots of juvenile humor, you need to see Deadpool. And in celebration of the movie's release, it's time to check out the Xbox One version of Deadpool from Activision and High Moon Studios!

Just as the Deadpool movie captures the personality and spirit of Marvel's "Merc with the mouth," so does the Deadpool game. Players will control Wade Wilson, AKA Deadpool as he battles the nefarious Mr. Sinister. Along the way, he'll meet up with Cable, Wolverine, Rogue, and other X-Men characters, annoy them greatly, and tell lots of silly jokes. You can't take this character too seriously.

Deadpool is a quality third-person action/shooter that fans of the comics and movie will enjoy. However, don't expect any significant upgrades in the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions. The current-gen game is a direct port of the previous gen version. But you'll still find all the action, humor, and chimichangas you could want, and that makes Deadpool worth a look.

If you're interested in picking up Deadpool, the digital versions are all on sale this week. Grab the Xbox One version for $29.99 for Xbox Live Gold members, the PlayStation 4 version for $29.49, and the Steam version for $19.99. Not too shabby!
