Soul Gambler, an interactive way to risk your inner being

Soul Gambler

Soul Gambler is a rather interesting role playing game for your Windows Phone. Not only in the game play itself but also in that game's future hinges on a Kickstarter project's success.

Soul Gambler is a interactive story game where you control the direction of the story and the fate of the main character. You play the role of Faust who is given a chance to sell his soul for the life of his dreams. The interactive comic is an interesting game and in a way a tease of things to come if the developer gets enough support from his Kickstarter campaign. Soul Gambler may not appeal to everyone but it does make for a unique Windows Phone game experience.

Soul Gambler

Game play for Soul Gambler is straight forward. You follow the story by tapping on the screen to advance through the story boards. At various junctures of the story, you will have a series of options to choose from and the story proceeds based on which option you choose. You do have character attributes that you establish early on in the story and are displayed at the bottom of the screen along with your soul capacity.  These attributes will influence the outcome of the path you choose.

The game can be very short if you don't accept the proposal to risk your soul. Tempt fate and accept the proposal, you can then lead your character through the first two chapters of the story.

Soul Gambler

Additional chapters to the story are dependent on how successful the developer's Kickstart campaign is. Based on the Kickstarter page for Soul Gambler's current status, it looks like the developer has met his initial goal and additional chapters will be headed our way.  Hopefully sooner than later because it doesn't take you long to tackle the first few chapters.

Graphics are nice, the storyline isn't too bad but the interactive comic novel may not appeal to everyone's gaming preferences. Soul Gambler is a free game for your Windows Phone and you can find it here in the Windows Phone Store.

Looks like a laugh, however one thing that just stops me downloading an app is adds, I hope there is a paid version.

So you chose on the bottom set of pictures fruit? In exchange for you fertilizing her seed?

Haha, that was ny first thought too when I swiped to the comments section. Clearly someone had their Wheaties today.

Just finished it took 5 seconds was fun and the kickstarter is already funded so now i just wait which im happy about cause im still playing the last rpg you guys mentioned"doom & destiny" about 15 hours in! Its easily the best game on wp the humor omg! Nerdgasm! Its so great!

Just from the screenshots it reminds me of a game, Darkseed, I wish that would come to WP. That was a good game. Also reminds me of dream sleuth. I wish I could program I always wanted to make an RPG like this.

Love this type of games. Wizards Choice. The uniqe Zombie High (still not on Android and iPhone but will go there in the end.), there all great.
