Video Teaser: EA Games for Nokia Windows Phone

EA Mobile Games has released a video teaser highlighting eleven (if my count is right) gaming titles that will be heading to the Nokia Windows Phones. We first heard about the exclusive partnership during Nokia World and again during the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show.

The titles spotted in the minute long video include:

  • Tiger Woods PGA Tour
  • Monopoly
  • Spy Mouse
  • Yahtzee
  • The Game of Life
  • Spy Mouse
  • Vampire Rush
  • Mirrors Edge
  • SIMS Medieval
  • Parking Mania
  • 2 Real Racing
  • Picnic Wars.

The video doesn't show much of each title but just enough to spark your interest. Nokia is due to have over twenty titles for an exclusive period available for their Lumia Windows Phones. It will be interesting to see what the remaining titles will be.

Update: Additional upcoming titles from EA Games include:

  • FIFA 12
  • Madden 12
  • NBA Jam
  • Dead Space
  • Bejeweled 2
  • Connect 4
  • Risk
  • Trivial Pursuit
  • Bop It!

We've got an all out discussion on these titles over in the forums that you can find here.

Bop It!

Well, I see Bop It! in the future for my kid.  Spy Mouse (just the title) sounds intriguing, but I know nothing about the game itself.  Mirror's Edge could also be cool.  I really don't want to pay for a bad port of a board game and any form of Monopoly is a very unlikely purchase for me.  Still, looks like there could be a couple of good titles there.

My only reservation with Bop-It is that I'm not sure I want to go around bopping my Windows Phone.  Just sounds like an accident waiting to happen.

I really want the Mirrors Edge game. Even a well programmed side scrolling port of the full 3d version will warrant a buy from me.

No, you're not the only one... I'm not a huge phone gamer though... Too paranoid about battery life. :) But I've been praying for a full sequel for my 360. CAN YOU HEAR ME, DICE?!

It's about freakin' time! The Nokia exclusivity is wierd. How is that going to be enforced in the Marketplace? I'm wanting a Lumia 900 (hopefully in May). How long is the exclusivity? And pricing? I shudder to think.
