Toca Kitchen 2 - test your culinary skills with this Windows Phone and Windows 8 sequel

8

Toca Kitchen 2 is the sequel to the original Windows Phone game for children that puts your child in the kitchen with a wide range of ingredients to prepare some rather unique meals.

Toca Kitchen is a part of a series of games that are designed to challenge your child's creativity. The cooking game will let your child experiment with different proteins, fruits, vegetable and other food ingredients and let them get messy without creating a mess. You also have three dining patrons to serve as taste testers.

Available for low-memory Windows Phones and Windows 8 devices, Toca Kitchen 2 comes across as a fun, time-consuming game for our younger readers.

Windows Central photo contest: Water

The photo contest is back, and we've changed things up once again. We took a week off last week with it being the Easter holiday weekend for many of us on the Mobile Nations team. But now we're going to change it up again and we're giving more people more time to enter. The contests will now each run for two weeks, and we're going to try out some new prizes along with it.

You'll find all of the relevant information below. But onto this weeks topic, Water. Something commonplace in life, yet that still lends to taking many different styles of shot. The one up top is a quick sample I took this past weekend with the Lumia 640 XL on a gloomy afternoon. But you guys will certainly do better.

So, to the rules and a little housekeeping, announcing the winner of the last weekly photo contest!

TrulyMadly, the popular dating app in India, arrives on Windows Phone

135

TrulyMadly is a popular dating app in India. Quite similar to Tinder, the biggest USP of TrulyMadly is profile verification via Trust Score and matchmaking. The app focuses on introducing two right single people and ensures that it does not spam any users profile and only suggests verified and relevant matches for a user, based on his/her preferences.

The app has recently landed on the Windows Phone Store. The first release had some issues, and a quick update has taken care of those while bumping up to version 1.1.

Take a look inside the Microsoft Garage, the home of 'Doers, not talkers'

39

The Microsoft Garage is an interesting place where some generally awesome ideas develop and grow into products we may or may not get to see. A large organization like Microsoft has many labs, like that totally secret development of HoloLens, and in a pretty detailed post, the doors to the Garage have been opened for us all to have a peek inside.
