Today, AccuWeather joined the increasing cadre of companies embracing Microsoft's Universal Windows Platform (UWP) with the release of their completely rewritten weather app.

The app, which is hitting the Store today is available for PC, tablet and phone along with an all new design following the Windows 10 UI guidelines.

AccuWeather has always been one of the more popular weather apps and services available. Having one app across all your Windows 10 devices including a new redesign gives a solid boost to Microsoft, and it should please users who want a more robust weather app than the default one from Microsoft.

The AccuWeather app is just now being pushed to Microsoft servers, so if it is not live for you yet keep checking as it should arrive in the next few hours. The app is live for us for PC, but not yet mobile.
