Acer's new TravelMate X3410 is sleek and ready to hit the road for $900

If you do a lot of work from the road, Acer is aiming to catch your eye with the latest entry in its TravelMate lineup, the TravelMate X3410. With a focus on portability and beefy battery life, the X3410 comes in three configurations with prices starting at $900.

All told, Acer claims the X3410 series can net up to 15 hours of battery life. Combined with a chassis that sits at 0.8 inches (20mm) thick and weighs 3.5 pounds, the laptop should be easy to tote around town while lasting a full work day on a charge.

On the inside, you'll be able to pick from an Intel Core i3-8130U, Core i5-8250U, or Core i7-8550U, depending on the model. That's backed up by either eight or 16GB of RAM, and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of SSD storage. The 14-inch display is a 1080p panel across all three variants, and each comes equipped with Intel UHD Graphics 620.

Rounding things out is support for Windows Hello with an integrated fingerprint reader.

The TravelMate X3410 is available now, with prices starting at $900 for the base model. The other two models on offer come in at $1,000 and $1,300, respectively, for stepping up to an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor and more RAM and storage space.
