Hey, I'm Richard Devine. As the Managing Editor at Windows Central, I spend my days (and way too many nights) looking at Windows, PCs, open-source, and the latest in gaming.
While I live in Windows, my heart is often in the terminal. I love open-source software and spend a lot of time digging through GitHub to find the next "must-have" tool that most people haven't heard of yet. Whether it's perfecting a WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) workflow or helping bridge the gap between Windows and Linux, I’m all about finding ways to make our PCs do more.
When the work laptop closes, the gaming PC stays on. I’ve spent more hours than I’d like to admit in the dark streets of The Division 2, chasing the perfect line in Forza Horizon, or keeping up with the ever-changing meta in Call of Duty.
For me, it’s not just about playing the games it’s also about the community that keeps them alive. I’m here to make sure you have the best info, the neatest tools, and a better experience every time you hit the power button.
