The TCL R635 has 4K resolution and supports all major HDR standards, including HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HLG. It also supports variable refresh rate (VRR) up to 120Hz. The TV's THX-certified game mode optimizes its image around reducing latency.

You can use the TV at 1440p resolution at 120Hz or 4K resolution at 60Hz. This means the TV is better suited for the Xbox Series S, which targets 1440p gameplay at 120Hz. On the Series S, you'll still be able to watch 4K movies as films generally aren't above 60Hz.
There aren't a ton of games that support 4K resolution at 120Hz, so even if you have an Xbox Series X, the TCL R635 is a nice budget-friendly option.
