Best gaming mouse under $50 in 2022
By Brendan Lowry last updated

A great gaming mouse is essential if you're looking to get into PC gaming seriously, but if you aren't careful, you may spend much more money than you need to. In reality, some of the best gaming mice on the market are $50 or less, meaning that you won't need to break the bank at all to take your game to the next level. Here are our favorite picks for the best gaming mouse under $50.
Best overall
Featuring extra buttons, adjustable weight-tuning, an accurate sensor, high capacity switches, a durable frame, and snazzy RGB lighting, the CORSAIR M65 Elite RGB is genuinely the best all-around gaming mouse you can buy for under $50.
Smoothest FPS aiming
If you need a mouse for a shooter, then the sleek and smooth design of the Razer DeathAdder Essential is perfect for you. In addition to the ergonomic design that makes it comfortable to hold, you also get to enjoy cool RGB lighting and extremely high-capacity switches, too.
MMO-style
The Logitech G600 is relatively old, but it's still a fantastic gaming mouse if you play massive-multiplayer online (MMO) games. That's because it's covered in buttons designed to be easily pressed by your thumb, which you can bind various spells and attacks to that you usually would use hotkeys for.
Ambidextrious design
The SteelSeries Sensei 310 is designed to be comfortable to use for both right and left-handed players, making it one of the most versatile gaming mice out there. It also has excellent switches and a great sensor.
Budget choice
The SteelSeries Rival 110 isn't as excellent as something like the CORSAIR M65 Pro RGB, but it's also much cheaper than anything else on this list. It's not a bad mouse by any means either, offering reliable performance in all categories. If you're strapped for cash, this is the mouse for you.
Wireless pick
If you prefer to game without cords, then the Logitech G602 is an excellent option for cutting the wire. Like the SteelSeries Rival 110, it's not the highest quality mouse on this list, but it's pretty good overall, and you'll be able to play well without issue.
Controling your game and budget
All of the above mice are excellent pieces of hardware, but if I had to choose one, I would go with the CORSAIR M65 Elite RGB (opens in new tab) since I play a wide range of games and that mouse is the best overall. It's a mouse that feels far more expensive than it actually is. It's a good match for general gaming.
There are other standout options from which to choose. Shooter fans will want to go for the Razer DeathAdder Essential (opens in new tab). If you're an MMO player, access to your hotkeys via a mouse's numeric controls can be the difference between victory and a raid wipe. The Logitech G600 (opens in new tab) will be a huge help. If you have a narrow budget, you should choose the SteelSeries Rival 110 (opens in new tab).
