If you're a Canadian hoping to save some big bucks this Black Friday, get your shopping done early! The Canadian Microsoft store has a few early Black Friday sales going on including a sale on several great laptops (opens in new tab) from brands like Lenovo, Asus, and others. Whether you're looking for a budget machine or something more advanced, you should be able to find something with the features you want here. Plus you can save as much as CAD $720 depending on the model you go for.

The most advanced laptop in this sale in the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 9i (opens in new tab). It's down to CAD $1,549.99 from a normal price of CAD $2,270. That's a huge CAD $720 discount that takes this laptop out of luxury territory and makes it something more affordable.

With the IdeaPad Slim you get a 14-inch display that has 4K resolution and an IPS panel for amazing color accuracy. It's powered by an 11th-generation Intel Evo Core i7 processor, 16GB RAM, and a 512GB solid state drive. It also uses Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics. Some of the extra features include two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one regular USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port with DisplayPort and Power Delivery tech, Bluetooth 5.0, and a built-in 720p webcam.

Looking for something on a budget? Save CAD $130 and get the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (opens in new tab) on sale for CAD $349.99. That's a uniquely low price for this machine, and it's still a very capable computer. You get a 14-inch LED display with 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, an Intel Pentium Silver N5030 processor, 4GB RAM, and a 128GB solid state drive.

While not an ideal laptop if you're interested in gaming, it's a great one if you're just looking to get some work done. That's doubled by the fact that it comes with a free one-year subscription to Microsoft 365.
