Everyone is editing their own Jetpack Cats for Overwatch and it's the best thing on the internet right now

Overwatch is having a bit a comeback right now, in no small thanks to it unshackling the 2 moniker and having a huge content injection including 5 new heroes to kick off it's new season.

Despite the season only starting today, Overwatch's Steam numbers have been impressive since the Blizzard showcase. Bearing in mind, Steam is only a tiny piece of the picture, given it's primarily on Battle.net and console. But the thing I am most excited about is the new hero, Jetpack Cat.

Cats make everything better, and the internet clearly agrees. The character has taken on a life of its own across social media, with fans turning their own feline friends into high-flying Overwatch heroes.

I'm downloading Overwatch again for the first time in years

After dropping the 2 from Overwatch 2, Overwatch is coming back and having something of a reset. Starting from Season 1 today, it will be telling a multi party story through it's seasonal content up until Season 6 called "The Reign of Talon."

We can expect updated maps, another 5 new heroes in addition to the 5 we get this season, new short stories and a bunch of in-game events. It looks like Blizzard are really going for fan service after scrapping it's PVE content in years past.

I for one am interested in Overwatch again for the first time in years (I'm sorry Blizz Overwatch 2 just didn't grip me the same) and will be jumping in myself when the new season goes live later today.

When does Overwatch Season 1 start?

Season 1 of Overwatch starts February 10 at 11:00 am PT, 2:00 pm ET, and 7:00 pm GMT. You can jump in and play one of five new characters: Domina, Emre, Mizuki, Jetpack Cat, and Anran (who is slated to get a redesign after some fan feedback regarding her in-game look).
