If you’re one of the three people who don’t own Minecraft already, it’s now on sale for Christmas

There's not a month that goes by that Minecraft isn't one of the best-selling video games across platforms, and it has been that way for a very long time. Minecraft doesn't need massive sales to be at the top, so it's not very often that we see a real deal for this legendary game.

Well, now is one of those times. Mojang Studios has discounted Minecraft on all platforms by 25% or more, making this Minecraft Java & Bedrock Edition PC bundle just $21.99 at Amazon.com. The sale is only lasting until Jan. 8, 2026, though, so take advantage of this holiday discount.

Minecraft Java & Bedrock Editions: was $29.99 now $21.99 at Amazon

Join millions upon millions of players and explore one of the most iconic worlds in video game history. Minecraft is all about freedom and creativity, and now it's easier to buy a copy as a gift, or pick up Minecraft on yet another of your devices.

I don't think I have to sell Minecraft to you — it has been around since 2009, and it certainly didn't need my help to become a global cultural phenomenon. This blocky survival-crafting game continues to be one of the top-selling video games of all time, spanning multiple generations of gamers.

Minecraft is available practically everywhere, including Xbox, Windows PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and even other devices running Android, iOS, Linux, and macOS. Minecraft connects players across all of those devices, and absolutely thrives thanks to its bustling community of builders, miners, creators, and modders.

Of course, Mojang Studios also regularly updates Minecraft with new content and features. In fact, the Mounts of Mayhem game drop just recently rolled out as Minecraft's final update of the year, adding more mobs, a brand-new weapon, and more.

Minecraft is much more than just a video game at this point, but gaming is still the core of this franchise. Part of that success can be attributed to its modest price tag, too, hence why we rarely see every version of Minecraft go on sale. If you don't own Minecraft on a specific platform or want to buy it for someone else, this is the time to do it.

The Minecraft: Java Edition and Bedrock Edition bundle is only $21.99 at Amazon.com, right now, and the deluxe collection on Xbox is also just $21.99 at Amazon.com. Wherever you can play Minecraft, there's a good chance it's on sale (but exact discounts and end times may change depending on your region or platform). You can find all of those details at Minecraft.net.
