PC building — which usually has the end goal of PC gaming — is one of my favorite hobbies, and it's something that I've been doing for decades. On any given day, it's not a particularly affordable hobby, which is why I love covering things like Cyber Monday GPU deals.

This year, there's one piece of hardware that's standing in the way of a complete PC build. You already know that I'm talking about RAM, which has hit astronomical prices in recent weeks.

With no end in sight to the RAM problem, pre-built gaming PC are the next best option. You're in luck — many systems are discounted for Cyber Monday, and I chose the five best deals on a range of hardware.

Why are RAM prices so high right now?

Just about all the high-performance memory in the world is being gobbled up by the AI boom. Specialized AI GPUs need memory to function, and when there are massive datacenters being built around the world, paying high prices for components, you can see how we've arrived at this predicament.

Suppliers would rather sell to the highest bidder, and we all know that we PC gamers aren't going to outbid massive AI firms.

Unfortunately, there's not really an end in sight for the current RAM price spike. DDR5 kits that used to cost somewhere around $100 to $200 are now approaching $600 to $1,000, and there are really no great deals on standalone RAM worth mentioning.

Newegg was bundling some T-Group RAM with this discounted Gigabyte B650M motherboard earlier in the day on Cyber Monday, but that promo has gone cold. It was only live "while supplies lasted" anyway.

Although I always love to entice a PC gaming noob into the world of PC building, this year just doesn't have the right sales on PC hardware to make an honest recommendation. That's why I've turned to these 5 pre-built gaming PCs currently enjoying a deep discount on Cyber Monday.

When is Cyber Monday 2025?

Cyber Monday lands on December 1, 2025. That's TODAY, and it's ultimately the last day you're going to see deals on a lot of tech products that have been on sale all weekend.
