Heading back to school or just need a new laptop that won't break the bank? Best Buy's Deals of the Day features the HP 15-dy2093dx 15.6-inch laptop on sale for $499.99. This is a one-day deal, but it is $80 off Best Buy's normal price. It's not a gaming laptop or something that's going to blow you away with its amazing graphics, but it is a very solid budget option and a super choice for anyone that needs a laptop for classwork and things like that.

The specifications for the HP laptop include an 11th-generation Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, and a 256GB SSD. The 15.6-inch screen has 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and an IPS display with great color and viewing angles. The SSD has NVMe technology so it has crazy fast read and write times.

Other features include HP's Fast Charge, which helps the battery get up to 50% in just 45 minutes, a fingerprint reader for extra security, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 4.2. This is a very capable laptop with dual-array microphones, a full-size keyboard, and a built-in HD webcam.

This HP laptop isn't the only sale going on at Best Buy at the moment. You could also get the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 on sale for $499. That's a $200 discount off the Chromebook 2's regular price, and you can also find this sale at Amazon. It has never dropped this low at either retailer.

The Chromebook 2 has a 13.3-inch QLED touchscreen. It's powered by an Intel Core i3 processor, 8GB RAM, and 128GB flash storage. You can supplement that storage by using Chrome OS and the Cloud or even using an SD card with the built-in media card reader. It also has Wi-Fi 6, built-in Google Assistant for voice commands, and a long-lasting battery.

You can do a lot with a Chromebook like this, including adding Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and more.
