Black Friday has come and gone, and the Cyber Monday deals are just starting to appear at major retailers everywhere. I have good news for those shopping for a new Windows 11 laptop — prices keep dropping, and I've added a few new options for less than $500.

I know that a lot of PC users are in a weird limbo state between Windows 10's end-of-life and a new Windows 11 laptop, and I want to make it as easy (and affordable) as possible to make that upgrade.

Should I wait for Cyber Monday to buy a new Windows 11 laptop?

I can't say how prices will change for Cyber Monday; some might drop further, and other deals might disappear. In this case, where I'm highlighting sub-$500 laptops, it's hard to imagine these prices dropping any further than they are now.

When does Cyber Monday start at Amazon?

Amazon has already begun moving away from Black Friday branding as we roll into Cyber Monday. There are countless deals on the go, and that will continue until Monday's close.
