Black Friday is considered the biggest shopping day of the year, and in 2021, stores like Amazon will be offering a lot of deals, even before Thanksgiving Day and through Cyber Monday (and beyond).

Although during this time, you will be presented with a lot of bargains from Windows 11 laptops and desktops deals to office supplies, and many other items for home and entertainment, you're likely to stumble upon offerings that might not be good deals, and this is when Keepa can come in handy.

Keepa is an online service that tracks the price history of products on Amazon. The extension for Windows 11 and other operating systems gives you an embedded view of the historical data within the product page to make sure you can make an informed purchase. Also, if the item isn't at your desired price, you can create a tracker, and you will receive a notification as soon as the price drops to something you can afford.

In this Windows 11 guide, we will walk you through the steps to set up and use Keepa to track an Amazon product's pricing history to get only the best deals on Black Friday 2021.

The Price history page includes the graph showing the price history of a particular product from Amazon and third-party sellers. The orange chart shows the product sold and fulfill by Amazon. The purple chart shows the history for third-party sellers, and the gray chart is for used products from third-party sellers and Amazon.

On the right side, you have various options to customize the view. You can click each item to show or hide information to focus only on the data you need to make an informed decision.

The Range option (at the bottom of the list) lets you change the history range. Usually, you want to use the "3 Months" or "Year" options.

Once you analyze the data, you can determine whether the product has a Black Friday price or something you can buy at any other time. However, you should not rely only on historical data. It's also recommended to research online to make sure the product is the same or cheaper elsewhere. Sometimes, this can help save a significant amount of money.
