Alongside the recent release of Titanfall 2, a new layer of teamwork and player collaboration has been introduced in the form of Networks. While Networks don't necessarily introduce any hugely innovative ideas, their inclusion significantly adds to the game's multiplayer experience. But what exactly is a Network? Here's what you need to know!

What is a Network?

Debuting for the first time in Titanfall 2, Networks are a simple built-in grouping feature, designed to bring similar players together into a single location. Comparable to clans and guilds in other multiplayer titles, players from across the world can create and manage their own Networks. Built directly into the game's multiplayer menu, Networks are a fast and easy way to bring together players with similar interests and preferences.

Why should you join a Network?

If you're familiar with Looking for Group services, you'll already be accustomed to the basic idea behind Titanfall 2's Networks. Networks serve as a great place to meet like-minded gamers, with the ability to sort groups based criteria such as interests, regions and play styles.

Playing as a part of a Network is strongly encouraged in Titanfall 2, with rewards available for those who partake in group activities. Happy Hour is a key component of this, offering increased merit for those who play during a certain one-hour period every day. This, in turn, encourages players to play alongside their Network, netting them faster progression for that period of time.

How to join an existing Network

If you're just getting started with Titanfall 2, we recommend joining an existing Network before creating your own. This will help you meet similar players while new to the game, but instantly provide access to the benefits of being in a Network. Here's how to join an existing Network in Titanfall 2!

  1. Select Multiplayer from the Titanfall 2 main menu.
  2. Navigate to the Comms tab.
  3. Select Networks.
  4. Choose Browse from within the Networks page.
  5. From the browser, search for a Network of your choosing. For a more precise search, results can also be restricted to certain player preferences and Network criteria.
  6. After finding a Network, press A to join.

How to create a new Network

Starting up your own Network is also a great choice for those wanting to tweak a group to their own preferences. Creating a Network is also an easy way to build your own unique Titanfall 2 community, with similar interests and play styles to you! Here's how to get started with a new in-game Network!
