Insiders can now run multiple Android apps on Windows 10 with Your Phone app
Support for multiple Android apps on Windows is rolling out to Your Phone, but you'll need a supported Samsung device.

What you need to know
- Your Phone now supports running multiple Android apps on Windows 10 for Insiders.
- The feature is limited to select Samsung devices.
- The functionality is rolling out gradually to supported devices.
Windows Insiders can now use select Samsung phones to run multiple Android apps on Windows 10 simultaneously. The new functionality is rolling out gradually and could take "a few days to be enabled," according to Analy Otero Diaz, principal program manager lead at Microsoft. The feature expands on Your Phone's Android app support, which currently allows people to run a single Android app on Windows 10 from a supported phone.
A screenshot of the new feature was shard by Romi Koifman, senior product manager, Microsoft. Koifman shows off four Android apps running on Windows 10 at once in a screenshot.

Koifman and Diaz did not share a complete list of all phones that support the new feature but clarified that only "select Samsung devices" can use it. The list of supported phones is likely similar to those that support running a single Android app on Windows 10.
We've reached out to see if this feature will roll out to the Surface Duo and will update this post with any new information we receive about supported devices.
Update, November 6 (12:00 pm ET): Vishnu Nath, partner director of PM for Microsoft Mobile, has now confirmed that this feature isn't available for Surface Duo at this time.

Updated to the latest Insider dev build, updated YourPhone on computer and S20 Plus. Now play the waiting game (and I'm not good at that 😁)

Still a Your Phone connection to phone via USB is not there. 🤦🏻♂️Wi-fi is good but not all the time especially if you have desktop instead of laptop. USB is easier and zero latency and no connection fiddling method and charges your phone too while being connected. Perfect for a surface duo like device especially with small battery. Apps feature will be so much better if they give a USB option. It will not use up any wifi bandwidth and will work without any latency.

This works when my Surface is connected to the dock so wired network is used. No idea what happens when I disable wifi though. Can't be bothered to plug in a USB cable... Freedom has no cables imho 😁

Not on S20 FE yet?
-
Not on a DUO? That's MS's own phone.
-
Um why dont I get apps for Duo?
