Marvel Heroes Omega will bring the fight to Xbox One on June 30

A whole lot of Marvel superhero action is about to land on the Xbox One. Developer Gazillion has announced that Marvel Heroes Omega will hit Microsoft's console on June 30, letting anyone jump in and control the biggest names of the Marvel universe for free.

Marvel Heroes Omega is an action-RPG that originally launched as simply Marvel Heroes on PC in 2013. The game is free-to-play, letting players jump into the shoes of the likes of Captain America, Spider-Man, the X-Men and the Guardians of the Galaxy.

As you play through the story, you'll gain levels and new skills on your way to the level cap. The game even takes a page out of the MMO playbook and offers raid encounters for players to take on with friends.

If you're a Marvel fan, or even just a fan of action-RPGs like Diablo, then Marvel Heroes Omega may be worth a look once it hits Xbox One on June 30.

  • Can't wait to dig in!
  • Yeah, this is great on PC. Can't wait to hammer it on Xbox
  • So basically like dc universe online
  • It's more like Marvel Ultimate Alliance. You play as the actual Marvel heroes here, whereas you can only play as custom characters in DC Universe Online.
  • Will be fun to re-visit. Played the he** out of it on PC. Leveled Human Torch to 60 x5 to change name text color to red and pretty much "burned out" on it after that.
  • Nice... What I want to know is Cyclops in this?
  • I thought it was June 20th?
  • I'm definitely going to grab, this and I hope it runs that smoothly on the Xbox as well.
