Following the public release of the Xbox One Summer Update, members of the Xbox One Preview program are still seeing frequent tweaks and fixes. Over the past week, we've continued to see further refinements to the experience, with yet another build rolling out to members of the program tonight.

Tonight's Xbox One Preview build, rs1_xbox_rel_1608.160808-1700, implements a number of fixes to localization and game stability. As with most updates, the build will start rolling out to Xbox One Preview members from 6 p.m. PDT.

Here's what's new with tonight's update:

  • Groove Music

Resolved issues which could sometimes cause Groove Music to crash.

  • Localization

Resolved an issue which could sometimes cause the titles of universal apps (Movies & TV) to not appear in the console's selected language.

  • Miscellaneous

General stability improvements for games.

  • My Games & Apps

If a universal app version of an app is available, the version which is not currently installed may appear under Ready to Install (causing what appears to be the same app both installed and in Ready to Install).

  • I'd still like to get on the preview for this if anyone can find any way to add me. Thanks everyone. Gamer tag is garygarcia
  • I have invited so many people recently. Probably around 30. I have no idea if any of them were successful.
  • I understood that they weren't accepting anyone else as of several months ago.  My memory might be a bit wrong though.
  • Any word on when their going to open up the preview to other Insiders? I'm itching to get started!

  • I just wish the damn Netflix app would give me UHD option on my One S. No idea what I'm doing wrong. Posted via the Windows Central App for Android
  • I have a Vizio 4K TV had to switch to a different HDMI port to get it to 4K check your ports
  • My 4K is enabled and is selected in the video options, have upgraded my subscription but nothing on the Netflix front. Blu-ray looks amazing though Posted via the Windows Central App for Android
  • What's up on speed and fluidity? That's the update I need. The lag is real.
  • Stillno fix for localisation in dvr?
  • When the heck are they going to fix the media player app. Since the update over 80% of the movies in my external media hard drive don't show up in the app. It seems any movie that has a title that begins with a letter after the letter 'C' doesn't show.
  • I found folder and file names seem to play a big part despite what codecs are used.
  • If this update doesn't bring back voice commands to apps then I am still not satisfied.
  • Does this up date get us a decent UI?
  • Ah ahhaha, right. Stop making me cry.  I HATE the UI we've had for the last 12 months.
