Star Wars Battlefront II gameplay video leaks ahead of E3 2017 reveal

While Electronic Arts' EA Play conference is only a few hours away, gameplay for its upcoming shooter, Star Wars Battlefront 2, has already managed to leak online. We've now been treated to twelve minutes of early multiplayer footage placed on Naboo's Theed – a map set to debut as a part of the company's E3 2017 showcase.

Updated June 10, 2017: Anddd, it's gone. Electronic Arts appears to have removed the footage from YouTube. We'll try to keep this article updated with an active link ahead of the reveal.

The video comes from YouTuber "NukemDukem," who appears to have published gameplay ahead of the multiplayer reveal. While he was quick to unpublish the content, that hasn't stopped the unforgiving minds of the internet to quickly scoop it up.

For now, it seems the footage is still available to watch – currently re-hosted on another YouTube account. While we're sure Electronic Arts will take the video down, it's worth getting a glimpse while you can. Over the course of the gameplay, we get an in-depth look at upcoming heroes and villains, such as Rey, Darth Maul, and Boba Fett. Droids also appear to be fully playable – which will be a first for the EA's Star Wars Battlefront franchise.

As always, stay tuned for all major announcements surrounding EA Play and E3 2017 over the coming days. Don't forget to let us know what you think of the footage in the comments.

  • Looks alot better than the last one. Alot more like the pc originals.
  • Looks ok. Graphics are awesome and gameplay looks at least a bit better than the shameful first EA battlefront.
But I'm definitely not gonna preorder this game. And I don't like the energy shields on every unit.
  • Why do you embed you tube videos that never work on Edge??? Always get error and have to click YouTube. Is it related to the stupid adblocker message that comes up every login?
