Support your favorite streamers and the Twitch community.
What you need to know
- Twitch gift cards are now available online at Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop.
- The minimum amount that can be placed on a gift card is $25.
- These can be used to subscribe to streamers, gift subscriptions, and purchase Bits.
Twitch has announced that its gift cards can now be purchased digitally through Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop. You can load up from $25 to $200 on a single card, and Twitch's website even lets you personalize the design a bit with a message like happy birthday or happy graduation, among others.
Gift cards can be used to subscribe to your favorite streamers, gift subscriptions to other people, and purchase Bits, which can unlock unique emotes by cheering in the chat. Subs start at $4.99/month while Bits start at $1.40, so a gift card can go a long way. Once you redeem your card, the funds will automatically be added to your Twitch Wallet.
Twitch lost some big streamers to Microsoft's Mixer, but with Mixer's upcoming closure, a lot of the biggest talents are free agents. And regardless, Twitch is one of the most popular streaming platforms out there.
Twitch gift cards can only be redeemed in the United States at this time, but the company is looking to expand and offer them in other countries soon.
