Zach Bowden and Daniel Rubino are very excited about Microsoft's upcoming event scheduled for October 2 in New York City. They aren't certain what products and accessories will be announced, but they're confident that "Surface phone" (aka Andromeda) will not be among them. They also look forward to the October 2018 update for Windows 10, changes to Skype, and their favorite announcements from IFA. Rounding out the show, they chat about voice control features for Xbox, and the Ecobee smart home devices with Alexa integration. Yo, Cortana! Tell Xbox...

  • 'Reading comments from the salty Windows Phone users, threw up their hands and said 'screw it, they don't want it anyway'...?' Say what? In backwards-land, maybe...! In the real world, those old Windows Phone users are going to be the early adopters, and probably the most honest reviewers in a very anti-Microsoft slanted tech-sphere. As for your snarky and derogatory tone towards some of your core audience, Dan; they're your meal-ticket, buddy, and at some point very soon they're gonna have had enough of you badmouthing them, in podcasts and on comments sections. Back in the day I quit WPPoweruser for the very same reason, and if it weren't for the fact that Jason, Zac et al have manners and produce interesting articles, I'd have left Windows Central long ago as well. I'm getting close now, though...
  • Don't let the door hit ya Manus. The truth hurts sometimes!
  • Great advice...
Never question. Never criticise. Never speak out against bad behaviour.
Good on you; you're a credit to the species!
