Windows Device Recovery Tool adds support for Alcatel Idol 4S and more

A fresh update is rolling out to the Windows Device Recovery Tool (WDRT), bringing along support for some new devices. Most notably, this update adds support for the Alcatel Idol 4S, along the HP Elite x3 on Telstra and more. Other updates include accessibility support for Narrator and other minor tweaks and fixes.

Here's a look at the full changelog for WDRT version 3.11:

  • Support for Lenovo Softbank 503LV and Zebra TC700J mobile devices.
  • Add new device for HP Elite x3 Telstra and Alcatel IDOL 4S devices.
  • Update the MCJ logo.
  • Added accessibility support for Narrator.
  • Other minor enhancements and bug fixes.

If you already have WDRT installed, the update should be available to download now. If not, you can grab the tool from Microsoft now.
