Blizzard announced during today's World of Warcraft: Shadowlands preview that the latest expansion to the MMORPG will launch in fall. Closed beta testing for the game begins next week, allowing players to explore the end-game zone of The Maw, the realm of the dead devoted to the most evil denizens of the game's universe.
The developers also provided a look at the Collector's Edition of the game, which retails for $120 at Blizzard Gear Store. Along with providing digital perks such as a level 120 character boost and an Ensorcelled Everwyrm flying mount, the box will include:
- A Shadowlands mousepad
- Pins for each of the expansion's four covenants
- A game soundtrack
- A concept art book
- 30 days of game time
