Xbox One's extra features may be bringing down its gaming quality

Lately, Call of Duty Ghosts has had their guns pointed at the Xbox One – or at least that is how many people around the web have felt. Eurogamer decided to sit down with the developers of the upcoming Call of Duty and see what their explanation is.

Live the Xbox One experience with Microsoft’s latest video

74

We have seen bits and pieces of the dashboard for Microsoft’s latest entertainment console, Xbox One, but we haven’t seen a full immersive tour of it all. New engaging Xbox One ad invites you to try Microsoft’s all-in-one gaming system

94

Ads and commercials can be hit and miss with Microsoft. But we will say that within the last 18 months, they have had more wins than losses (see the Lumia 1020 recital or Surface 2 ones for evidence). Today, Redmond has pushed out a new teaser ad for the Xbox One and they seem to have hit all the right notes.

The commercial is titled ‘Xbox One: Invitation’ and features some real life celebrities in their elements, welcoming users into the action.  The ad starts with Titanfall in a board room (reminiscent of the ED-209 scene from Robocop) and it goes on to highlight FIFA 14, Forza 5 and Dead Rising 3 (which is especially hilarious).

Foul Play Xbox 360 Review: a rousing XBLA brawler

Seeing as how we didn’t get a new Xbox Windows Phone game last week, we’ll look at a downloadable Xbox 360 game instead. Foul Play is a recent Xbox Live Arcade game from UK-based publisher Mastertronic.

Foul Play’s title might make you think the game would have something to do with birds, but it actually refers to corrupt goings-on at the turn of the twentieth century. With a unique setting, witty writing, and charming art style, Foul Play is a beat-em-up worth playing. Head past the break for our full review!
