Microsoft Store site will sell a 'limited' number of Microsoft Band units on Tuesday

If you have been waiting to get your hands on a Microsoft Band{.nofollow}, get yourself ready for Tuesday at 1 pm Eastern Time. That's when the Microsoft Store website will start selling what it says will be a "limited amount of units of the smartband.

Microsoft quickly sold out of its first online shipment of the Microsoft Band when it launched a couple of weeks ago. The company has since denied reports that it only had 5,000 units of the device available for its first batch, stating today they have sold "well beyond" that number. Tuesday's sale of the Band will likely sell out extremely quickly as well. Here's the lowdown:

"Limited availability this Tuesday, November 18 at 1:00 PM EST. Get yours while you can, available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last."

Microsoft isn't offering any word on just how many Band units will go on sale. However, if you miss out on this opportunity, Microsoft says that it "expect shipments of Microsoft Band to continue arriving in Microsoft Stores throughout the holiday season."

Will you be at your PC, smartphone or tablet to purchase the Microsoft Band at 1 pm ET tomorrow?
