Every weekend, Windows Central streams an Xbox One or Steam game on Twitch for 1-2 hours and gives out free games to the cool people who join us during the stream. It's like a live podcast, only you also get to watch a game while chatting with our awesome readers and viewers!
Tonight we played BioShock: The Collection from 2K Games, containing all three BioShock games remastered for current gen platforms. We also checked out Pac-Man Championship Edition 2, the latest and greatest Pac-Man game. Read on for quick impressions, contest winners, and the full video replay.
BioShock: The Collection
The recently released BioShock: The Collection includes all three BioShock games, remastered for current generation systems and with all of their single-player downloadable content. BioShock is an amazing series of science fiction first-person action-adventures. If you missed any of them the first time, you'll definitely want to grab the Collection.
BioShock is a shooter unlike any you've ever played, loaded with weapons and tactics never seen. You'll have a complete arsenal at your disposal from simple revolvers to grenade launchers and chemical throwers, but you'll also be forced to genetically modify your DNA to create an even more deadly weapon: you.
- Bonus content included: Museum of Orphaned Concepts, Challenge Rooms
Set approximately 10 years after the events of the original BioShock, the halls of Rapture once again echo with sins of the past. Along the Atlantic coastline, a monster has been snatching little girls and bringing them back to the undersea city of Rapture. Players step into the boots of the most iconic denizen of Rapture, the Big Daddy, as they travel through the decrepit and beautiful fallen city, chasing an unseen foe in search of answers and their own survival.
- Bonus content included: Minerva's Den, Protector Trials
Bring us the girl, wipe away the debt. The year is 1912. Deep in debt, Booker DeWitt has only one opportunity for a clean slate: rescue Elizabeth, a mysterious girl imprisoned since childhood in the flying city of Columbia.
- Bonus content included: Clash in the Clouds, Burial at Sea 1&2, Columbia's Finest Pack
Pac-Man Championship Edition 2
Pac-Man returns in this excellent sequel to the critically acclaimed Championship Edition games. With tons of levels, new mechanics like Bomb Jumps, bigger levels, and bosses, this is one of the best Pac-Man games yet.
Featuring eye-popping 3D graphics and funky visuals, the latest version of the classic game takes chomping and chasing through mazes to a whole new level! Make up to four ghost trains for maximum chompage! New modes include Score Attack and an Adventure Mode with fast fleeing fruit, big bad bosses, ridiculous remixed rules, and more!
Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 costs $12.99 and is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
We streamed BioShock: The Collection for ~90 minutes. During that time, we gave out a total of 6 prize codes:
- $10 Xbox gift card (must be redeemed on US accounts or a console set to US region)

How to watch Twitch livestreams
What's the best way to experience Twitch? The Twitch website on your PC or Mac web browser. If you don't have or prefer not to use a computer, you can get the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, or Xbox 360 Twitch apps and watch from the comfort of your couch. Android and iOS both have official and unofficial Twitch apps to choose from as well.
On Windows Phone, you'll have to grab an unofficial app. There are several to choose from, each with different strengths and weaknesses. Only one app lets you search directly for our channel, though. If you use the others, you'll have to find and follow us from a web browser first. Read the roundup to learn more!
Want to know what's next for Windows Central's Twitch programming? We stream a different game every Saturday (and sometimes Sunday). The stream always starts at the same time: 9pm Eastern (8pm Central, 6pm Pacific, 1am GMT). Over the next few weeks, we'll be streaming the following (schedule not finalized):
- Saturday, September 24: Forza Horizon 3 – Players with early access can join us in multiplayer. Prizes: Xbox gift cards!
We hope you'll tune in as often as you can! Set a recurring alarm on your phone so you'll always know when it's time for the stream to start.

Review: NASCAR Heat 5 is still the complete package for fans
It's not long since NASCAR Heat 4 arrived, or at least, that's how it seems, with the new title arriving much earlier in the year than its predecessor. It's got some shiny new paint jobs and some neat new features, but many would be hard pressed to tell it apart from last year's game.
