Need something light and portable on a trip from Toronto to Vancouver? Settling in at a cafe in Alberta and need something powerful to work on? If you're somewhere in Canada and you're on the hunt for a new laptop, Microsoft has the deal for you right now. You can save up to CAD $500 on laptops (opens in new tab) through the Canadian Microsoft store. The sale includes dozens of models from a bunch of different brands like Asus, Lenovo, Razer, and others. The prices range from budget machines around CAD $500 to beasts worth more than CAD $4,500. All of them are on sale, however, many are down to thheir lowest prices. This huge sale ends Sept. 13, so grab one while you can.

If you're looking for the best value in this list, that might vary based on your needs. However, the Razer Book 13 laptop (opens in new tab) is one of the machines with the largest amount of savings. It's CAD $500 off its regular price and is down to CAD $2,199 as a result. That's a huge discount on a great laptop.

The Razer Book 13 was Razer's first attempt at a non-gaming laptop, and Daniel Rubino called it "Arguably the best Windows Ultrabook of 2020" in his 5 out of 5 star review. He added, "There is something about the impeccably balanced and clean design, the outstanding sound and screen, the fun RGB keyboard, and just the overall feel, including opening it one-handed. Razer took my wish-list of must-have features in a 13-inch laptop and made it a reality."

This version on sale is actually the 2021 version updated a few months ago, too, which includes more SSD space, an updated processor, and a few other improvements.

Another way to go would be the Surface Go 2 (opens in new tab), which is CAD $70 off during this sale. It's down to just CAD $509, one of the least expensive options available. Read the Surface Go 2 review and learn all about this budget 2-in-1 tablet PC from Microsoft that we gave 4 out of 5 stars and a The Best badge.

Check out the full sale for more options (opens in new tab), but remember these deals end September 13.
